Avocado Cheddar Burgers Recipe

1. Prepare the Ingredients 

Gather all the necessary ingredients, including ground beef, avocado, cheddar cheese slices, burger buns, lettuce, tomato, onion, condiments like mayo or ketchup, and any additional seasonings or toppings you desire.

2. Shape the Patties 

Divide the ground beef into equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season the patties with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices like garlic powder or paprika.

3. Cook the Patties 

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the burger patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Make sure to flip them halfway through cooking.

4. Prepare the Avocado 

While the patties are cooking, slice the avocado and remove the pit. You can mash the avocado with a fork if you prefer a spreadable consistency or slice it for a chunkier texture.

5. Melt the Cheese 

Towards the end of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each burger patty and allow it to melt slightly. You can cover the grill or skillet with a lid to help the cheese melt faster.

6. Assemble the Burgers  

Slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them if desired. Spread your desired condiments on the bottom half of each bun. Then, layer the cooked burger patties with melted cheese on top of the condiments.

7. Add Toppings 

Layer the sliced avocado, lettuce, tomato, and onion on top of the burger patties. You can also add additional toppings such as pickles or bacon if desired.

8. Serve and Enjoy
