1. Rim the glass 

Start by rimming the edge of a highball glass with celery salt. You can do this by moistening the rim of the glass with a lemon wedge and then dipping it into a plate of celery salt.

2. Fill the glass with ice 

Fill the rimmed glass with ice cubes. This will help keep your Bloody Mary cold and refreshing.

3. Add vodka 

Pour 1 1/2 ounces of vodka into the glass over the ice.

4. Add tomato juice 

Pour 3 ounces of tomato juice into the glass with the vodka.

5. Add lemon juice 

Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, which is about 1/2 ounce. This adds a fresh citrusy flavor to the drink.

6. Season with Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce 

Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce for depth of flavor and a dash of hot sauce (such as Tabasco) for heat. Adjust the amount to your taste preference.

7. Season with salt and pepper 

Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper into the drink, adjusting to taste.

8. Garnish and Serve 

Use a stirring stick or spoon to gently stir all the ingredients together. Then, garnish your Bloody Mary with a celery stalk, lemon wedge, olives, pickles, or any other garnishes you desire.
