1. Gather Ingredients 

Collect all the necessary ingredients for the recipe. You'll need slices of brioche bread, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. You might also want toppings like powdered sugar, maple syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream.

2. Prepare Egg Mixture 

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with milk, a splash of vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg. Whisk until well combined.

3. Soak Bread Slices 

Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated. Let the bread soak for a few seconds to absorb the liquid, but be careful not to let it become too soggy.

4. Preheat Pan 

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.

5. Cook French Toast 

Once the pan is hot, carefully transfer the soaked bread slices onto the skillet. Cook each side for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

6. Flip 

Use a spatula to carefully flip each slice of French toast to cook the other side evenly. Be gentle to avoid breaking the toast.

7. Keep Warm 

As you finish cooking each batch, transfer the French toast to a warm oven or plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil and keep them warm while you cook the remaining slices.
