Cilantro Lime Salmon in Foil Recipe

Step 1: Preheat the Oven 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's ready when you're done preparing the salmon.

Step 2: Prepare the Foil 

Cut large pieces of aluminum foil, enough to wrap each salmon fillet individually. Make sure they are big enough to enclose the salmon completely.

Step 3: Season the Salmon 

Place each salmon fillet on a piece of foil. Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings such as garlic powder or paprika.

Step 4: Add Cilantro and Lime 

Top each salmon fillet with freshly chopped cilantro and slices of lime. The cilantro and lime will infuse the salmon with vibrant flavor.

Step 5: Wrap the Foil  

Wrap each piece of foil around the salmon fillet, creating a sealed packet. Make sure to leave a little room inside the packet to allow for steam circulation.

Step 6: Bake in the Oven  

Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and transfer them to the preheated oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 7: Check for Doneness 

Carefully open one of the foil packets to check if the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness. It should be opaque and flaky.

Step 8: Serve and Enjoy
