Step 1: 

Gather all the ingredients and equipment needed: vodka, raspberry liqueur, pineapple juice, a cocktail shaker, a jigger or measuring cup, a strainer, and a martini glass.

Step 2: 

Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes. This will chill the ingredients and dilute the drink slightly as it's shaken.

Step 3: 

Measure out 1 1/2 oz (45 ml) of vodka using a jigger or measuring cup, and pour it into the cocktail shaker over the ice.

Step 4: 

Measure out 1/2 oz (15 ml) of raspberry liqueur using the jigger or measuring cup, and add it to the cocktail shaker.

Step 5: 

Measure out 1/2 oz (15 ml) of pineapple juice using the jigger or measuring cup, and pour it into the shaker as well.

Step 6: 

Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker tightly, making sure it's properly sealed.

Step 7: 

Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 10-15 seconds. This will mix the ingredients thoroughly and chill the drink.

Step 8: 

Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass using a strainer to catch any ice shards. Optionally, garnish the drink with a fresh raspberry or a pineapple wedge for a decorative touch.
