Honey Lemon & Grand Marnier Margarita Recipe

1. Prepare your glass 

Begin by rimming a margarita glass with salt or sugar. To do this, rub a lemon wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip it into a plate of salt or sugar to coat the rim evenly. Set the glass aside.

2. Make the honey syrup  

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts honey and water. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring until the honey is completely dissolved. Once dissolved, remove from heat and let it cool down. This will be used to sweeten the margarita.

3. Squeeze fresh lemon juice 

Juice enough lemons to obtain 1 oz of fresh lemon juice. It's best to use fresh lemon juice for optimal flavor.

4. Mix the ingredients  

In a shaker filled with ice, combine the tequila, Grand Marnier, fresh lemon juice, and honey syrup. Secure the lid tightly on the shaker.

5. Shake well 

Hold the shaker firmly and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This will thoroughly mix the ingredients and chill the margarita.

6. Strain into the prepared glass 

Using a strainer, pour the margarita mixture into the prepared margarita glass, being careful not to disturb the salt or sugar rim.

7. Add garnish 

If desired, garnish the margarita with a lemon wheel or twist. This adds a decorative touch and a hint of citrus aroma.

8. Serve and enjoy
