1. Brew Coffee 

Start by brewing a cup of hot coffee using your preferred method. Make sure it's strong and freshly brewed for the best flavor.

2. Preheat the Glass  

To prevent the glass from cracking due to sudden temperature changes, preheat it by filling it with hot water. Let it sit for a minute or two, then discard the water.

3. Add Brown Sugar 

Add one tablespoon of brown sugar to the preheated glass. Adjust the amount according to your preference for sweetness.

4. Pour Whiskey 

Measure out 1 ½ ounces (about 1 shot) of Irish whiskey and pour it into the glass over the brown sugar. Stir well to dissolve the sugar into the whiskey.

5. Add Coffee 

Pour the freshly brewed hot coffee into the glass, leaving some room at the top for the whipped cream.

6. Top with Whipped Cream  

Gently float a layer of lightly whipped heavy cream on top of the coffee. You can use the back of a spoon to carefully layer the cream over the coffee without mixing.

7. Optional Garnish 

For an extra touch of flavor and presentation, sprinkle a pinch of cocoa powder or grated nutmeg on top of the whipped cream.

8. Serve 

Irish Coffee is best enjoyed immediately while it's still hot. Sip slowly and savor the rich flavors of coffee, whiskey, and cream.
